If Fife beats Auburn Riverside with 17 runs on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. Killian Allen was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Fife always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matchups.
Auburn Riverside came out on top against Mt. Rainier on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fourth inning. The Ravens took their contest against the Rams 7-4. The win was some much needed relief for the Ravens as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Cameron Bain spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned runs on 11 hits.
At the plate, Andre Muneton and Caleb Anardi did most of the damage at the plate: Muneton went 3-for-4 with two runs and one double, while Anardi went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI Anardi has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Braydon Rudolph, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.
