The Ponte Vedra Sharks will face off against the Parker Braves at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Ponte Vedra barely beat Fletcher the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Ponte Vedra put the hurt on Fletcher with a sharp 8-2 win on Tuesday. Considering the Sharks have won five games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Aspen McAdoo tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit over 4.1 innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, Madox Tepper was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing Four bases. while going 4-for-4. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases. Grady Hartman was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-3.
Ponte Vedra always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .513. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fletcher only posted an OBP of .214.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Parker, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Concord Christian 6-5 on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Braves as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
The team relied heavily on Brynt Frye, who scored two runs and stole Four bases. while going 3-for-4. He is becoming a predictor of Parker's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is undefeated (and 4-6 when he doesn't). Ysaac Parra also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
Parker pushed their record up to 7-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Ponte Vedra, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 7-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Ponte Vedra has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Parker struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Ponte Vedra's way against Parker in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Ponte Vedra made off with an 11-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ponte Vedra since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
