Paden had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Monday. They put the hurt on the Earlsboro Wildcats with a sharp 10-2 win. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by eight runs or more this season.

Paden pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Earlsboro, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Paden didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 19-4 victory against Wewoka on the 1st. As for Earlsboro, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Konawa at 12:00 p.m. on the 10th.
