The Crosspointe Christian Academy Panthers stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 76-33 win over Legacy Christian at home. The victory was nothing new for Crosspointe Christian Academy as they're now sitting on five straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Crosspointe Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Neby Yewubneh, who scored 23 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Yewubneh hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Quinton Ford, who scored 13 points along with seven steals and two blocks.
When it comes to explaining why Legacy Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Seth Harper. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Crosspointe Christian Academy pushed their record up to 9-3 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.5 points per game. As for Legacy Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.
Crosspointe Christian Academy will head out on the road to square off against Tabernacle Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Tabernacle Christian is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. Legacy Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on St. Sebastian's Soldiers HomeSchool at 7:30 p.m. on January 29th.
