Case has gone a perfect 10-0 against Bourne recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Cardinals will head out to challenge the Canalmen at 11:00 a.m. Case is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.
Case took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over Middleborough. Considering the Cardinals have won three matches by more than 11 runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Lila Alvarez made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed six innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with three RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Nicole Rebelo, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Makayla Garcia was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and three RBI.
Case kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Bourne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 17-10 to Old Colony RVT. Even if the Canalmen couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.
Michaela Muldoon made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all six of her plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and one double. Bridget Curran also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
Case is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Bourne, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.
Bourne's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Case hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .381. It's a different story for Bourne, though, as they've only averaged .188. Will they be able to contain Case's hitters?
Case was able to grind out a solid win over Bourne when the teams last played back in May of 2024, winning 5-1. Will the Cardinals repeat their success, or do the Canalmen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
