West Rowan is 10-0 against Concord since February of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The West Rowan Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the Concord Spiders at 6:00 p.m. West Rowan is looking to tack on another W to their 12-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
West Rowan has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 22 points or more this season. They blew past East Rowan, posting a 79-22 victory at home. Given West Rowan's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 15th, while East Rowan is ranked 215th), the result last Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Even though Concord has not done well against Lake Norman Charter recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Everything went Concord's way against Lake Norman Charter as Concord made off with a 62-38 win. Concord's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
West Rowan's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Concord, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.
Everything came up roses for West Rowan against Concord in their previous matchup back in February as the team secured a 92-15 victory. With West Rowan ahead 62-9 at the half, the match was all but over already.
