Tremont waltzed into their contest on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They took down the Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons 56-42. 56 seems to be a good number for the Turks as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Tremont's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Tremont will finish 2025 at home by hosting Elmwood at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley, they will be taking part in a tournament against Clinton at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
