Two dominant players in Christian Nicholas and Jackson Hadden are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Warner Christian Academy Eagles just played last night, but they'll still head out to face the Christ's Church Academy Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
On Thursday, Warner Christian Academy lost to Crooms Academy on the road by a decisive 66-47 margin.
Meanwhile, Christ's Church Academy came up short against Interlachen on Tuesday and fell 56-46.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Hadden, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. He hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for 16 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Olson, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.
Warner Christian Academy now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Christ's Church Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-17.
Warner Christian Academy was taken down by Christ's Church Academy 86-51 in their previous meeting back in February of 2019. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Warner Christian Academy was down 61-23.
