East River waltzed into their contest on Thursday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They blew past The First Academy Royals 10-1. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.
Katherine Sanchez made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over seven innings pitched.
