The Coolidge Yellowjackets lost against the Frost Polar Bears back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Coolidge was dealt a 55-17 loss at the hands of Frost. Coolidge has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Frost's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brenda Manrriquez, who scored 19 points along with 5 steals. Manrriquez is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Brynna Banks, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 19 rebounds.
Coolidge's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Frost, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Coolidge will look to defend their home court on December 1st against Grandview. As for Frost, they will head out on the road to face off against Axtell at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Axtell comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
