Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Trinity Christian walked away with it. They blew past Asheville Christian Academy 63-7 at home. Considering Trinity Christian has won nine games by more than 28 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
High Point Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Trinity Christian, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-1.
High Point Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Trinity Christian in their previous matchup back in October of 2015, but they still walked away with a 12-8 victory.
