The Frederick Golden Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Green Mountain Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Last Friday, Frederick came up short against Longmont and fell 55-44.
Frederick's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Olly Justice, who to rack up 17 points, and Zach Burton, who posted seven points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals. Another player making a difference was Dante Lechuga, who earned 12 points.

Frederick better keep an eye on Simon Lunsford. He was instrumental in Green Mountain's win, en route to 18 points and five boards. Lunsford's big performance that evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Green Mountain was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive matches.
Green Mountain pushed their record up to 14-9 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.6 points over those games. As for Frederick, their loss dropped their record down to 12-11.
Frederick was able to grind out a solid win over Green Mountain when the teams last played back in December of 2024, winning 59-48.
