The Sand Point Eagles/Lady Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They breezed by Chief Ivan Blunka on the road to the tune of 70-32. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Sand Point has managed all season.
Rowdy Tripp was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 14 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games he's played. Kaiden Foster was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with two steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Sand Point and bumps their season record up to 4-5. As for Chief Ivan Blunka, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Sand Point will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Birchwood Christian at 5:30 p.m. on January 30th. Chief Ivan Blunka does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
