West Marion put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the D'Iberville Warriors.
Gracie Odom was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Maycee McKenzie also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
West Marion's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for D'Iberville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Marion will head out to take on Oak Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for D'Iberville, they will square off against Wayne County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
