Javon Lawrence Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Thursday, North Rockland got the W thanks in part to Javon Lawrence playing the best football he has all season. Lawrence rushed for 82 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 36 receiving yards. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 81-yard run.
The victory (which was North Rockland's third in a row) raised their record to 4-2. They and John Jay are set to duel on Friday.

A Season-Best Effort from Logan Lawrence Leads John Jay over New Rochelle
John Jay was led to victory by Logan Lawrence, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Sunday. Lawrence threw for 243 yards and three touchdowns while completing 84.6% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
John Jay moved to 1-5 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak. They and North Rockland are set to duel on Friday.

Tuttle Made His Presence Known in Arlington's 41-28 Loss
While Arlington might've come up empty on Thursday, Jayden Tuttle wasn't going down without a fight. Tuttle turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 48 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 30 yards.
This is the second loss in a row for Arlington and nudges their season record down to 2-4. Tuttle and Arlington will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Scarsdale at 6:00 p.m. on October 25th.
