Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Ridge). They were the clear victor by a 74-54 margin over the Hixson Wildcats on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Pioneers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

East Ridge pushed their record up to 3-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points per game. As for Hixson, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Ridge will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Howard Tech at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Hixson also won't see the court for a while: their next contest is against Rhea County at 3:20 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
