Parkland (Allentown, Pa.) snapped the four-game winning streak of
Stroudsburg (Pa.), with a 35-21 victory on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by
Devante Cross in the first quarter, the Trojans were up 21-7 at the half.
With the win Parkland extended its winning streak to nine games. Parkland defeated Emmaus 37-30 last week.
The Mountaineers came in giving up 15.3 points per game this season.
The defeat comes as a step back for Stroudsburg, which notched a 42-16 victory over Pleasant Valley in its previous outing.
SHS (8-3) will play a Mountain Valley game against East Stroudsburg South next week. The Cavaliers have put together a 10-0 record on the year so far.
