Leading Methodist Children's Home to victory were Londen Bickham and Daraun Taylor. Bickham dropped a double-double on 22 points and 10 rebounds, while Taylor scored 29 points along with 8 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Taylor has scored at least 25% of Methodist Children's Home's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Yasser Zapata, who scored 6 points.
Methodist Children's Home now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Trinidad, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Methodist Children's Home will take on Mount Calm at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mount Calm is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. Trinidad will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off.
