The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Giavanna Mars and Jai-lyn Garvin-martin. Garvin-martin had a solid game and scored nine points along with two steals. Meanwhile, Mars did her best for the losing side, almost dropping a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Northampton came up short against the Golden Eagles on Friday and fell 61-48. Northampton has not had much luck with the Golden Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
