Whitmire won the last time they met up with Ware Shoals, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Everything went Whitmire's way against Ware Shoals on Friday as they made off with a 35-6 victory. Whitmire were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The win bumped Whitmire's record up to 4-2. Ware Shoals are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-7.
Next week Whitmire take on Dixie at 7:30 PM. Dixie also lit up the scoreboard in their last game, so this could be a high-scoring game. Ware Shoals will have some time to rest before their next game, which is against Dixie in two weeks at 7:30 PM.
