 Meanwhile, Walden Grove never let their opponents score on Thursday. They were the clear victor by  a  10-0 margin over Douglas. The  win was just what Walden Grove needed coming off of  an  11-3 defeat in their prior  matchup.
  Alejandro Martinez was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-4.  Angel Armenta was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 Canyon del Oro pushed their record up to 18-5 with that  victory, which was their fifth straight  at home. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.2 runs per game. As for Walden Grove, their win bumped their record up to 14-8.
 Monday's   game will be a test for both team's pitchers. Canyon del Oro hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .335. However, it's not like Walden Grove struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .326. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
