Basketball Recap: Ezekiel Academy Piles Up the Points Against Varsity Opponent

Ezekiel Academy came tearing into Monday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.5 points), and they left with even more momentum. They breezed past Varsity Opponent to the tune of 68-22. That looming 68-22 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Knights yet this season.

Ezekiel Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Justice Dakwa, who shot 78% from the field en route to 16 points. Those 16 points gave Dakwa a new career-high. Wilson Eagerton was another key player, going 5-for-11 on his way to 14 points and five rebounds.

Ezekiel Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 25 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in ten consecutive games dating back to last season.
