Rochester not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 6th (when they won 18-3). Everything went their way against the MacArthur Generals as they made off with a 9-2 victory. The Rockets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by seven runs or more this season.
The team relied heavily on Jorey Myren, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since May 5th. Ajay Runkel was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
With the win, Rochester broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 21-12-1. As for MacArthur, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-22.
