Riverwalk Academy suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Monday. They had to suffer through a rough 94-38 loss at the hands of Lewisville. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Riverwalk Academy in their matchups with Lewisville: they've now lost three in a row.
McBee posted their biggest victory yet this season on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Governor's School for Science & Math 77-7 on the road.
Tyrek Wright was his usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Jasson Brockington was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Riverwalk Academy's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-11. As for McBee, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
Riverwalk Academy was dealt a bruising 80-42 loss at the hands of McBee in their previous matchup on January 8th. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of McBee's Jakari Holloman, who scored 13 points along with five assists and three steals.
