The Fayette Academy Vikings's game two weeks ago was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 55-48 victory over Tipton-Rosemark Academy. This was payback for Fayette Academy, who suffered a 69-41 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Fayette Academy can attribute much of their success to Corbin Bowling, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Clay Anderson, who scored 17 points.
Fayette Academy's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-10. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.6 points per game. As for Tipton-Rosemark Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-9.
