Prince George is on an 11-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Dinwiddie is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Royals will welcome the Generals at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Prince George is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.2 runs per game this season.
Prince George might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 14-4 to Clover Hill, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Royals haven't had much luck with the Cavaliers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Prince George saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Payton Finney, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Finney is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Kasey Sulc was another, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
Meanwhile, while Dinwiddie put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Thomas Dale. The Generals were the clear victors by a 14-0 margin over the Knights. Considering the Generals have won seven games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Emily Jordan made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Jordan was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Dinwiddie let Michaela Shell and Addison Everett run wild. Shell went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI, while Everett went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Charleigh Davis, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one run.
Prince George's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Dinwiddie, their win bumped their record up to 11-2.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Prince George has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.8 hits per game. However, it's not like Dinwiddie struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 3 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Prince George couldn't quite get it done against Dinwiddie in their previous matchup back in April as they fell 13-9. Will the Royals have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
