Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Unicoi County will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hampton at 8:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024. Hampton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 237th, while Unicoi County is ranked 84th). John Battle won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Marion at 7:30 p.m. on December 22nd. The timing is sure in Marion's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while John Battle has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
