On Friday, Providence Day faced Wesleyan Christian Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Providence Day Chargers blew past the Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans 70-49. The Chargers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Providence Day is on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 19 games, which provided a nice bump to their 27-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points over those games. As for Wesleyan Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 20-11.

Looking ahead, Providence Day will head out on the road to take on Carmel Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Carmel Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Providence Day likes a good challenge. Wesleyan Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
