The Altamont Knights had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They snuck past Westminster School at Oak Mountain with a 55-50 victory on Tuesday. The final score was a far cry from the score of their previous head-to-head, which saw the teams combine for 45 points.
Leading Altamont to victory were Betsy Connor and Abbey Sellers. Connor scored 13 points, while Sellers scored 13 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Connor has scored all season. Madison Goldberg was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Altamont's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-10. As for Westminster School at Oak Mountain, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.
Altamont will square off against the Yellow Jackets at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Vincent is coming into the game hot, having won their last nine games. Westminster School at Oak Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
