Everything went their way against the North Hall Trojans as the Cherokee Bluff Bears made off with a 38-13 victory. Cherokee Bluff's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaden (Kt) Thompson, who picked up 87 receiving yards and a touchdown. North Hall lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Smith Mcgarvey, who threw for 130 yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Cherokee Bluff's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for North Hall, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Cherokee Bluff will venture away from home to square off against Habersham Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Cherokee Bluff's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for North Hall, they will be defending their home-field for the first time this season they go up against East Hall at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. East Hall will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something North Hall surely won't give up without a fight.
