I-70 recap November 13, 2013
Wellington-Napoleon scaled the state rankings by moving to 282 from 311 this week, the biggest jump in I-70. The Tigers were able to move up by topping Mid-Buchanan 26-21.
Crest Ridge added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Concordia, 32-6. This was the team's 11th consecutive win.
Lone Jack's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Joey Brandon threw for 92 yards and Cole Shope had 56 yards receiving. On the ground Brandon chipped in 44 yards. Brandon helped Lone Jack's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 45 yards.

On the heels of Ethan Matthews and Justin Donald, Crest Ridge has had great success on offense. Matthews leads the league in passing with 803 yards, while Donald has rushed for 1,125 yards this season. Tops in the league in receiving yards is Sweet Springs's Nathan Vogelsmeier, with 489 yards on 16 catches.
In 147 carries Brandon has accumulated 993 yard this year.
Wellington-Napoleon and the Dragons played the closest game in the league this week, with Wellington-Napoleon eventually emerging with a 26-21 victory.
