Everything went Snohomish's way against Shorewood on Friday as they made off with a 49-21 win. Snohomish were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Snohomish started the contest off right with 28 first-half points. Shorewood came up with 7 to make it 28-7 heading into the break. The Snohomish defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 7 and all but finishing the match. The matchup pushed Shorewood down to 2-1 and pulled Snohomish up to the reverse at 1-2.
Next week Snohomish take on Everett at Everett Memorial Stadium at 5:00 PM. Shorewood will be defending their home turf for the first time when they go up against Shorecrest at 7:00 PM.
