They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Fulton Science Academy 88-40 on the road. Horizon Christian Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 29 points or more this season.
Horizon Christian Academy relied on the efforts of Hunter Beenken, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds, and Evan Holcombe, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 12 rebounds. Beenken is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last nine games he's played. Cooper Johnson was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
St. John Bosco Academy's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6. As for Horizon Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 12-10 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.
St. John Bosco Academy ended up a good deal behind Horizon Christian Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2023, losing 76-62. Can St. John Bosco Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
