Edmeston Central has been on the road for three straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Oxford Academy Blackhawks at 8:00 p.m. Edmeston Central will be strutting in after a victory while Oxford Academy will be coming in after a loss.
On December 8th, Edmeston Central got the win against Milford Central by a conclusive 57-34.
Meanwhile, Oxford Academy managed to keep up with Deposit-Hancock until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Oxford Academy was the victim of a tough 65-45 loss at the hands of Deposit-Hancock. Oxford Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Edmeston Central now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Oxford Academy, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Everything came up roses for Edmeston Central against Oxford Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2019 as the team secured a 63-32 victory. With Edmeston Central ahead 36-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.
