Dundalk is 1-7 against the Millers since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Dundalk Owls will head out on the road to challenge the Milford Mill Academy Millers at 5:30 p.m. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Parkville scored an imposing 61 points on Friday, Dundalk still came out on top. Dundalk managed a 66-61 win over the Knights. The win was all the more spectacular given Dundalk's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 231st, while the Knights are ranked 70th).
Meanwhile, Milford Mill Academy strolled past the Warriors with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 67-53. The win made it back-to-back wins for Milford Mill Academy.
The victory was the third in a row for Dundalk, bringing their record for this year to 7-8. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Milford Mill Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season.
Dundalk came up short against the Millers when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 69-65. Can Dundalk avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
