After five games on the road, West Union is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Manchester Greyhounds at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Thursday, West Union had to suffer through a rough 60-32 loss at the hands of Eastern.
Meanwhile, Manchester's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Fayetteville-Perry 63-23. Manchester has not had much luck with Fayetteville-Perry recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
West Union's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Manchester, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
West Union was able to grind out a solid victory over Manchester in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, winning 40-31. Will West Union repeat their success, or does Manchester have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
