Several Hot Dogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jack Michael, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 11 points and six rebounds. Those six rebounds gave Michael a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Beardsley, who posted nine points and five rebounds.
Caleb Wright was his usual excellent self, going 9 of 19 on his way to 22 points for Sheridan. Wright's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Chance Spencer was another key player, putting up eight points and six rebounds.
Frankfort's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Sheridan, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frankfort will be taking part in a tournament against Winamac at 7:30 p.m. on December 30th. As for Sheridan, they will take on North White in a tournament on Saturday. Sheridan is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 68.5 points per game this season.
