Fairview came tearing into  Friday's  game with seven straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 39 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Rocky Mountain Lobos 63-21. The  contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  42-14.
A big part of Fairview's  victory came down to the chemistry between  Ki Ellison and his top target  Toray Davis. Ellison threw for 323 yards and three  touchdowns while completing 86.7% of his passes while  Davis gained 154 total yards and four touchdowns. Davis was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 53 yards.
 Special teams  played a big role in the game for Fairview, adding 15 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of  Sabi Ruttgers, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Fairview's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Rocky Mountain, their defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 5-5.
