It was a good run, but the Warsaw Wildcats unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 59-52 to Osceola. Warsaw was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Osceola apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Despite the defeat, Warsaw saw an underclassman step up: Tanna Howe scored 22 points along with 5 steals. Howe scored a full 42.3% of Warsaw's points, the seventh time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Sara Miller, who scored 6 points along with 6 rebounds.
Warsaw's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Osceola, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 1-3.
Warsaw will challenge Weaubleau at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Osceola, they will be playing at home against Stockton at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
