Skyline is 0-5 against DeSoto since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Skyline Raiders will look to defend their home court against the DeSoto Eagles at 6:30 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Skyline had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Mansfield 47-33 on Wednesday. The win was just what Skyline needed coming off of a 84-41 defeat in their prior contest.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Skyline to victory, but perhaps none more so than Khalaizah Martin, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Martin has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Naiya Carney, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, DeSoto can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Mansfield 61-11 on the road. The victory was nothing new for DeSoto as they're now sitting on eight straight.
