Northwestern extended the longest winning streak in Baltimore City Division II this week by beating Southside Academy, 8-0. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Bluford Drew Jemison Academy/Civitas and Masonville Cove Community Academy played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Bluford Drew Jemison Academy/Civitas eventually emerging with a 14-12 victory.
Lewis' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Falcons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tayvon Queen has thrown for 421 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Earl McNair has eight catches for 286 yards. Donnie Neal leads the league in rushing with 540 yards.
A big matchup in Baltimore City Division II this week will be when Northwestern takes on Lake Clifton. At the moment, Eric Woodson's team is in first, while the Lakers are in eighth.
Lewis took down Lake Clifton 22-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
