The Transit Tech Express's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Summit Academy Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on February 5th. Transit Tech has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Tuesday, Transit Tech didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the , but they still walked away with a 45-40 victory. The victory was just what Transit Tech needed coming off of a 63-33 loss in their prior match.
Summit Academy never got on the board in their matchup on Thursday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against the last Saturday. They came out on top against the by a score of 61-49.
Amerie Santana continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 30 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Chloe Freeman, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Transit Tech's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-8. As for Summit Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season.
Transit Tech was taken down by the Eagles 79-23 when the teams last played back in January. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Transit Tech was down 36-14.
