The Dutch Fork Silver Foxes entered their tilt with the A.C. Flora Falcons with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Dutch Fork walked away with a 64-53 victory over A.C. Flora on Wednesday. For Dutch Fork, this counts as revenge for the 60-50 defeat A.C. Flora walked away with the last time they faced one another last Tuesday.
It was another big night for Michaela Fairwell, who scored 14 points along with five assists and four steals. The matchup was her sixth in a row with at least ten points. Christyonna Jackson was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Despite the loss, A.C. Flora still got an impressive performance from Terriana Gray, who scored 28 points along with five rebounds. Gray scored a full 52.8% of A.C. Flora's points, the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Krisian Mason, who scored nine points.
Dutch Fork pushed their record up to 8-1 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for A.C. Flora, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dutch Fork will be home for the holidays to greet Irmo at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Irmo focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday. A.C. Flora will be home for the holidays to greet Dreher at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Dreher comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 17 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
