Dominic Knicely continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 149 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. Knicely was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 61 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Cael Yates, who threw for 77 yards and a touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes.
Meanwhile, Freedom faced Battlefield in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Freedom claimed a resounding 50-7 victory over Battlefield on the road. Freedom's win was all the more impressive since Battlefield was averaging only 10.08 points allowed on the season.
It was another big night for Tristan Evans-Trujillo, who threw for 209 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Evans-Trujillo is absolutely dominating the passing touchdown category: he's posted at least three every time he's taken the field this season.
Their wins bumped James Madison to 12-1 and Westfield to 9-4.
