They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Perry Meridian 61-30 on the road. That looming 61-30 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Franklin Central yet this season.
Leading Franklin Central to victory were Dante Edwards and EJ Hazelett. Edwards scored 19 points, while Hazelett scored 16 points along with nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Edwards has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nehemiah Smith, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Franklin Central is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for Perry Meridian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin Central will take on Fishers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Fishers will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line. As for Perry Meridian, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Greenwood at 7:30 p.m.
