Rio Grande City is 10-0 against Palmview since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Last Friday, it was a hard-fought match, but Rio Grande City had to settle for a 31-28 loss against San Benito.
Palmview aren't just finding sucess at home, as their game on Friday extended their overall winning streak to ten. They came out on top against Martin by a score of 36-27. The team accrued 28 points in the first half and coasted on those for the win.
Mia Rojas was her usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with three steals. The match was her 15th in a row with at least ten points. Hailey Cantu was another key contributor, scoring five points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Rio Grande City's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Palmview, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.
Rio Grande City didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Palmview in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 46-40 win.
