The Stagg Delta Kings will challenge the Tokay Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Stagg is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.
Thursday just wasn't the day for Stagg's offense. They came up short against Bear Creek on Thursday, falling 7-0. It was the first time this season that the Delta Kings let down their fans at home.

Aerie Garcia spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and three unearned) runs on 12 hits and racked up 13 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances.
Meanwhile, Tokay came tearing into Thursday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Yellowjackets a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won nine games by seven runs or more so far this season.
Sophia Galletti 2027 made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. Galletti 2027 was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in February of 2024.
In other batting news, Tokay let Savannah Rawlings 2026 and Anabelle Sikich 2026 run wild. Rawlings 2026 went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double, while Sikich 2026 went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs. Those two RBI gave Rawlings 2026 a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cloe Alves 2026, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.
Tokay's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Stagg, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5.
Stagg suffered a grim 7-0 defeat to Tokay when the teams last played last Tuesday. Will the Delta Kings have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other softball content.
