Volleyball Recap: Timpanogos Falls Despite Big Games from Shelby Hartman and Elsie Hampton

Timpanogos and Park City squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Timpanogos had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Miners. The Timberwolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Timpanogos was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-22, 25-14.

Elsie Hampton and Shelby Hartman certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Hampton had 14 digs, while Hartman had 18 assists and five digs. Hampton is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Timpanogos' defeat dropped their record down to 7-22. As for Park City, they pushed their record up to 17-10 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home.

Timpanogos does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Park City, they will face off against Desert Hills at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
