Brooks (4-1-1) and Kennedy (2-5) go head to head this Friday at 7:00 PM. Brooks has been consistently improving, netting more total points each game than the last for five weeks now.
Brooks can now show off three landslide victories after its game two weeks ago. It crushed Montgomery County two weeks ago, winning 70 - 0. Senior Marchello Hoskins was especially active in the win, finding the end zone an impressive five times. Hoskins has been a consistent playmaker for Brooks as this was the 5th good game in a row from him.
As for Kennedy, after flying high the game before (36 points), it faltered in its previous match. Simmons delivered Kennedy a harsh 62 - 0 defeat last week. Senior Jamarrio Loggins didn't go down without a fight, though. He put up some defensive resistance with 14 tackles.
The last time they met, Brooks walked away with a 14 - 6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for it since the team will be on Kennedy's home field this time. We'll soon find out whether that makes a difference or not.
