After a string of five wins, Emerson's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Frisco Raccoons.

Emerson's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 15-3. As for Frisco, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

While Emerson had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
